It is with broken hearts, yet unshaken faith that we announce the passing of our beloved Dennis Ray Fredrick who went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2025. Dennis was a man of unwavering love, humility, and faith, whose life was a testament to God’s grace and goodness.
Dennis Fredrick was born on December 27, 1958 in Bayport MN to Shirley and Ray Fredrick. He attended River Falls High School and graduated in 1978. Dennis was united in marriage to Silvia on August 23, 2001 and together they built a life in River Falls, WI, full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Dennis’ life was one of service—to his family, his friends, his church, and his Savior. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, son, and friend always putting others before himself and leading with a heart full of compassion. His laughter, wisdom, and unwavering kindness left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Dennis will remain in the heart his wife, Silvia Fredrick; son, Ciro Cea; daughters, Brenda (Jose) Villalta, and Claudia (Travis) Kolander; grandchildren, Daniela, Mariana, Vicki, Belen, and Evrhett; siblings, Dianna (Chris) Kusilek, and Julie (Mike) Cina; niece, Mariah (Craig) Dickey; nephew, Wesley (Meghan) Kusilek, Nick Cina, Samuel Cina, and Christopher Hillison; great-nieces/nephews: Aftonn, Archer, Bentley, Demi, Raylen, Wrigley.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Ray, mother, Shirley, and sister, Gina.
Though we grieve his absence, we take comfort in knowing he is now resting in God’s eternal embrace, free from pain and surrounded by heavenly peace.
A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at St Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E. Division St. on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Visitation at 10:00am and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, lunch to follow. We invite all whose lives he touched to join us as we honor a life well lived and a faith well kept.
