Dianne Kay Bjork, age 75, of River Falls, WI passed away on November 1, 2018 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She was born on April 8, 1943 in Pepin, WI to Anton and Esther (Austin) Stromness. On December 14, 1974 Dianne was united in marriage to Ronald James Bjork in Durand, WI. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and later was a Real Estate Agent.

Family was an important part of Dianne’s life. She loved being a doting grandma to her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking, especially cookies, for her family and friends. Other interests include quilting, reading and her weekly Bible Study with dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Esther Stromness; siblings, Shirley Huff, Leonard Stromness, Richard Stromness, Phyllis Morgan.

Dianne will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 44 years, Ronald Bjork; her children, Luanne (Henry James) Meinke, Susan (Chip) Tangen, Heidi Bjork, Rebecca Gilles, Nathan Bjork (Brian Blaine); beloved adopted daughter, Sandra (David) Symicek; grandchildren, Katherine (John) Tangen Mumm, George C. Tangen, Elisabeth Egstad, Henry Colin Meinke, Sarah Meinke, beloved adopted grandchildren, Heather Bashaw, Matthew (Amanda) Symicek; her siblings, Karen Mawlby, Larry (Sharon) Stromness, Linda Bauer; her 4-legged companions, Sally and Pip; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00am Monday, November 5th at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 211 East Division Street, River Falls, WI. Visitation will be 9:30-11:00am prior to the Mass, also at the church. Interment will in St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery, River Falls. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
