Donald Elliott age 86 of Hudson and Luck, WI, and Isle, MN, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Woodland Hills in Hudson, WI with family by his side. Don was born on January 23, 1933 in Denver Colorado to Parents Ford and Dorothy Elliott. He attended High school at Washburn in Minneapolis and graduated college with an engineering degree. He was drafted in the United States Army and bravely served in the Korean War. After his service in the military he worked as a Quality Production Engineer at Unisys for 25 years, and was a loving father to his 6 children, before meeting his soul mate Charlene Dunst. Don also welcomed Charlene’s children and grand children into his family with open arms. He was an avid golfer and fisherman who had a passion for reading.

He will remain in the hearts of his soul mate Charlene; children Debra (Jeff) Lundsten, Dennis (Linn) Hill, Roxanne Borchardt, Katherine Swanson, Karen Elliott, and Donna Olson; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers Ford (Joanne) Elliott and Charles (Janice) Elliott, step brothers David Cline and Steven Cline, sister-in-law Patty Elliott; Charlene’s children Cheryl (Phil) Heitzinger, Karen (Peter) Halpin and Jennifer (James) Wazalawik as well as her 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Ford and Dorothy; his brother James Elliott; and his late wives Lucille and Helen.

A Memorial Service for Don will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI, the visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
