Donna I. Anderson, age 73 of Hudson, WI, formerly of Lakeland, MN, passed away September 4, 2015. Donna was born on February 23, 1942 in Eveleth, MN, the daughter of Peter and Irene (Maki) Pleban. She graduated from Johnson High School, the Class of 1960. Donna raised her two sons, David and Craig and provided a loving and warm home for her family. After they were grown, she worked outside of the home as an administrative assistant for the medical profession.

In her earlier years, Donna enjoyed tennis, bicycling, and hiking the state parks. She loved the beauty and peacefulness of the outdoors, and was an avid gardner. Donna also cherished her time with her family at the cabin and on the lake. She had a gracious heart and volunteered many years at the Hudson Hospital. Donna was strong willed with a no nonsense kind of attitude. Her loyalty to her close friends was shown in her caring ways. Most important to Donna was her faith, she had a strong belief and devotion.

Donna will remain in the hearts of her sons, David (Elizabeth) Anderson and Craig Anderson; twin granddaughters, Lola & Isla; brother, Pete (Laura) Pleban and Bob (Virginia) Pleban. She was preceded in death by parents, Peter and Irene Pleban; and brother, Bill Pleban.

A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to the Christian Food Cupboard of Hudson.
