Donna M. Frye, age 74, of Hudson died on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. She was born the daughter of Armand and Dorothy (Zelle) Marleau on May 23, 1936, in St. Paul, MN. She was a graduate of Monroe High School in St. Paul. On August 25, 1956, Donna was united in marriage to Eldon Frye at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in North St. Paul, MN. They would be blessed with three sons: Paul, Jim, and Mark. Donna worked as a bookeeper for many years. She retired from Hudson’s WESTconsin Credit Union in 2008. Donna enjoyed bowling, reading, quilting, and traveling. Donna is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eldon Frye of Hudson; her three sons: Paul Frye of Minneapolis, James (Lori) Frye of Hudson, and Mark Frye of Roberts; four grandchildren: Brian Frye of Hudson, Daniel Frye of Rice Lake, Stephen Frye of Hudson, and Amy Frye of Hudson; and the extended Frye family. A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:00 PM at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, 520 S. 11 Street, 715-386-3725. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
