Donna Jean Rademaker, age 81, of Baldwin, WI passed away on March 8, 2023.  Donna was born November 13, 1941 in River Falls, the daughter of Harry & Ruth (Thompson) Hanson.

She loved to dance, especially the waltz and polkas. She even taught dance while she was in high school. Donna graduated from Baldwin High School in 1960. On October 26, 1963 Donna married Gayle “Porky” Rademaker at Woodside Lutheran Church in Baldwin. She worked as a daycare provider for over 40 years. Children made her smile. She also enjoyed container gardening. She will be remembered as being an ear or a shoulder to lean on. Family was so important to her.

Donna is survived by her sons Michael (Jody) Rademaker of St. Paul, Patrick (Cindy) Rademaker of Kansas; granddaughters Veronica  Julia & Ella Rademaker; brothers Don (Doreen) Hanson of Iowa, Dan (Sue) Hanson of Baldwin, Dean Hanson of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband Gayle “Porky”; her parents Harry and Ruth, infant sister Darlene Hanson.

A memorial service for Donna will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 12 PM. Inurnment Baldwin Cemetery.
