Donna Marie Kaiser, age 69 of Hudson, WI, peacefully passed away at her home Sunday April 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born on July 25, 1947 in River Falls, Wisconsin; the daughter of Donald and Helen (White) O’Connell. She was raised in Hudson where she graduated from Hudson High School. On May 14, 1966, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Kaiser in Hudson. The couple was blessed with two children, Gregg and Candace. Donna was a dedicated homemaker who loved tending to her family. Having her grandchildren around gave her the greatest pleasure.

Family meant everything to her and she was the glue to the O’Connell clan. She loved hosting the family at her house every year, the weekend after Thanksgiving, and would try to gather the family as often as she could. Her friends also meant the world to her, and she so looked forward to frequent coffees, breakfasts and catching up with lifelong friends.

Donna will remain in the heart of her husband of 50 years, Kenneth; children, Gregg Kaiser, and Candace Cipriano; grandchildren, Brett, Sophie, Nate, and Alyssa; great-grandson, Westin; sister, Mary (Dick) Knight; brother, Steve (Kathy) O’Connell; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Private Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials preferred to the family.

    • Our friendship spands over 60 years. I have made many wonderful friendships in my journey thru life. Few meet the gold standard. Donna and I started our mischief years together. Life is always more fun when mischief is one of the ingredients. She was a Mother to her siblings and a caregiver to her Dad and other family members over the years. I would make a point to visit her and Ken whenever I was home visiting family. I will miss those visits. Thank you for a lifelong friendship Donna.
