Donna Marie Burt, age 73 of Lakeland, MN, passed away on February 11, 2019 at her home. Donna was born on January 31, 1946 in Arcadia, WI to Walter and Arvilla (Fonfara) Stenberg. She grew up on the family farm in Arcadia, and graduated from Blair High School, class of 1964. Donna was united in marriage to Rodney Burt on October 1, 1966 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Ettrick, WI. The couple were blessed with two children, and made their home in Lakeland. Donna loved children and worked for 30 years as a teacher at the Hudson Community Children’s Center. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially grandson Clarence and listening to country music. She was fond of traveling, and was delighted by visits to Florida that included trips to Disney World and to watch the Minnesota Twins Spring Training.

Donna will remain in the heart of her husband of 52 years, Rodney; children, Jennifer (Todd) Stubbe, and Chad Burt; grandson, Clarence Burt; family dogs, Frank, Callie and Ruby; siblings, Shelby (Jerry) Lokken, Sue Stetzer, and Brian (Jean) Stenberg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 16770 13th St. S, Lake St. Croix Beach, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at church.
