Donna M. Molde

Donna M. Molde, age 89, of Saint Paul, MN, passed away on May 15, 2023 at The Deerfield Gables in New Richmond, WI.

Donna was born on November 16, 1933 in Cyrus, MN to Joseph and Marion (Haldorson) Ronnie. She graduated from High School in 1950 in Glenwood, MN and later was united in marriage to Luverne Molde on September 23, 1953, a marriage that would be blessed with four children: Diane, Stacey, Luverne (Junior) and Michael. For much of her career, she worked as a Bindery Worker for the Security Bindery .

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, thrifting, and reading “gossip” magazines. She loved Country & Western music, playing BINGO (especially winning to get the prized Milky Ways), and in her earlier years, she cherished gossiping over the fence with her neighbor and best friend, Lennie.

She is survived by her children, Stacey Connors of St. James City, FL and Mike (Janis) Molde of Saint Paul, MN; daughter-In-law, Sandy Molde of Saint Paul, MN; grandchildren, Rick (Stefanie) Connors, Joe (Holly) Connors, Kelly (Mike) Swenson, Jon (Shelly) Molde, Jay (Steph) Molde, Matt (Sara) Kunzman, and Tyler Molde; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Regenauer and Mary Pooler; and best friend, Lennie Sigfield.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph, mother, Marion, husband, Luverne Molde, daughter, Diane Molde, son, Luverne (Junior) Molde, son-in-law, Rick Connors, sisters, Gail Gess and Betty Hendriksen, and brother, Marvin Ronnie.

A Private family graveside service will be held at the Cemetery of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cyrus/Starbuck, MN on a date to be determined.
