Dorace Bradford

Dorace Kay Bradford, age 66 of Somerset WI, died peacefully on September 18, 2015 at her home, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Dorace was born October 1, 1948 in St. Paul MN to parents Horace and Katherine (nee Bradshaw) Dupont. She was raised in Forest Lake, and was a graduated of Forest Lake High School. Dorace would be united in marriage to Dennis Bradford on April 17, 1971, and their union in marriage would be blessed with three children and over 44 years of love and devotion.

Dorace worked as a secretary for the 3M Corporation, and as a Health Unit Coordinator for St. John’s Hospital, but was most blessed to be a homemaker for her family. Dorace enjoyed time in the kitchen, baking and cooking, as well as outdoors in her flower gardens. Dorace also loved spending time reading as part of book club, and living her faith through Bible Study Fellowship. She was loved, and will be missed by many.

Dorace is survived by her husband, Dennis Bradford; son, Daniel Bradford; grandson, Jacob; siblings, Virginia (Gary) LaBore, Richard Dupont, and Walter (Catherine) Dupont; brothers-in-law, Darryl (Rosemary) Bradford, and David (Lora) Bradford; close friends Linda (Steve) Marty; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services celebrating the life of Dorace Bradford will be held at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 285 County Road E in Houlton WI. Family and friends will gather at church beginning at 4:00pm. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
