Dorene Ann German (Chamberlin), age 55, of North Hudson, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on October 11, 2017 at her residence.

Dorene was born on September 14, 1962, in Forest Lake, MN to parents, Dennis and MaryAnn (Carmella) Chamberlin. She grew up in Oakdale, MN and attended Tartan High School. For more than 14 years, Dorene worked as a supervisor for the Red Cross and was always involved with local blood drives and encouraging others to donate blood.

Dorene adored her family and loved spending time with them. She was especially fond of taking care of her many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dorene cherished the time she spent nurturing the children and was very proud to know she babysat every single child in her family at one time or another. Dorene was always there if anyone needed help or someone to talk to. One of her favorite things she enjoyed was horseback riding with her Dad, Dennis, her sister, Denise and best friend, Tina.

Dorene will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Crystal (Dan) Braley, and Naomi McCoy; grandchildren: Taylor, Jaxson, Carmella and Colton Braley, and Adriana McCoy; mother, Mary Ann and step-father Billy Yates; siblings, Debbie (Tom) Rowan, Rick (Robin) Chamberlin, Denise (Gary) Chaves, and Dan Chamberlin; step-siblings, Jennifer (Eric) Jerpbak, Melissa (Mike) Wilmes, and Patrick Yates; nieces and nephews, Jason, Joey, April, Justin, Kevin, Krystin, Tina, Tony, Chase, Jacquise, Brianna, Calleigh, and Josh; and many great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Chamberlin; grandparents, John and Mary Bartone; great-aunt, Virginia Ellis; best friend, Tina; and father to her children, Mark McCoy.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI.
