Doris Marie Caroline Sette, age 95 of New Richmond, WI, passed away at her home on December 9, 2017. Doris was born August 25, 1922 in Somerset Township to Ernest and Martha (Roettger) Ostendorf. She graduated from Somerset High School, the Class of 1941. Doris was united in marriage on September 14, 1952 to Ralph C. Sette. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage, until his passing in 2008. Doris worked as a bookkeeper for Home Oil Company in New Richmond for 26 years. Doris and Ralph delighted in gardening and meticulously tending to their flowers and vegetables. They were fortunate to share many travels together, and with their nieces and nephews, traveling to 24 different countries. Doris was devoted in her faith, and a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset.

Doris is survived by her nephews, Dick (Rose) Ostendorf, Bob (Cindy) Ostendorf, Wayne Ostendorf, John (Linda) Ostendorf, and Erich (Cindy) Ostendorf; nieces, Donna Mae Seim, Jerry Ostendorf, Elaine (John) Herink, and Barb Dempsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; brothers, Harold, Ray and Wilbur Ostendorf; and her parents.

Funeral services will take place 11:00 AM Friday, December 15, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church, 510 Germain St., Somerset. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Somerset. Pallbearers assisting with the services will be: Richard Ostendorf, Robert Ostendorf, Michael Herink, Mike Holland, Pat Cote, Kevin Frusher, David Ostendorf, and Rob McGlade. Honorary pallbearers will be: Donna Seim, Rose Ostendorf, Elaine Herink, Jerry Ostendorf, Chris Ostendorf, and Cindy Ostendorf.
