Dorothy Joan Green

With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Dorothy Joan Green, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 92. Dorothy was born on May 10, 1932, in Saint Paul, MN, where she spent her formative years before settling in Baldwin, WI, where she ultimately made her home.

Dorothy dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Through her work at the local A & W and Dairy Queen, she left a lasting impact on the community and those who worked with her. Dorothy enjoyed therapy swimming and was a dedicated member of the Moose Lodge Family Center #594 in River Falls, WI, where she fostered lasting friendships. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Woodville, WI. In Dorothy’s earlier years, she stayed active in various church committees.

Though Dorothy may have left this world, her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. Dorothy is survived by her children Joyce (Steve) Smith, Arthur (Thora Fisko) Beaupre, Richard (Mary) Beaupre, Daniel (Terrie) Green, Doralla Curvello; grandchildren Tony Lickness, Corina Lickness, Karl Beaupre, Cory Green, Amy Hickok, Casey Green, Stephen Smith, Crystal Green, Brian Beaupre, Dustin Beaupre, Ben Beaupre, Jerry Carey, Mindy Carey; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and foster daughter Jennifer Brohaugh-Barber.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Green; son Robert Beaupre; grandchild Penni Beaupre; parents Joseph and Martha Mash; sister Audrey (Earl) Halbert; and brother Bernhard Mash.

The funeral service to honor Dorothy’s life will take place at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2526 80th Avenue Woodville, WI, on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 am, with a visitation held one hour prior. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Saint Paul, MN.
