Edlyn “Lynn” Lavonne Larson, age 94 of Ellsworth, WI passed away on April 29, 2018. She was born at Enderlin, ND on April 5, 1924 to Earl and Minnie (Gunderson) Hitchcock. After high school, she was employed at the University of Minnesota as a secretary. Edlyn was united in marriage to the late Richard Larson on May 6, 1944 at the Cathedral in Saint Paul, MN. In 1973 Edlyn married Donald Larson at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton, MN. In 1973, she moved to Ellsworth, WI and began working for the FHA and ASCS of the Dept. of Agriculture.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; four brothers; husbands Richard Larson and Donald Larson; and sons, Jerome and Darryl.

Edlyn is survived by her children, Larry (Anna) Larson, Corrine (Richard) Nelson, and Richard (Cindy) Larson; daughter-in-law, Jenifer Larson; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home, 130 N. Grant Street in Ellsworth, WI on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 1:30pm. A family burial was held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
