Ed earned his degree from the University of Minnesota in 1957. Ed enjoyed boating, and watching the eagles and beautiful sunsets from their home on the St. Croix River. He enjoyed cruises and traveling in the RV. Ed served on numerous boards in the Hudson area, and was a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. For 42 years he operated several food stands at the Minnesota State Fair. He could fix anything and do everything. Ed loved his family and loved being a grandpa. Ed was a grandpa who was loving and fun and would sit at the kids’ table when they got together as a family. He nurtured his children and grandchildren with inspiration, wisdom, and self-confidence. He was both their best friend, and their strongest advocate. He will be missed dearly by his loving family, and a multitude of friends.
