She was a talented knitter and seamstress, altering many prom and bridesmaid’s dresses over the years for anyone who asked. Eileen was a devoted and proud mother and grandmother who loved visiting Milwaukee often to attend concerts and sporting events. Eileen will always be remembered for her sense of adventure, easy laughter and service to others.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; sister Joyce Bates; and brother Lee Halberg. She is survived by her daughters, Wendalee Stippich and Bethany (Scott Glisch) Hauser; grandchildren Jakob (Olivia) Stippich, Caden Stippich, Ashlyn Hauser and Nicholas (Olivia DeValkenaere) Hauser; and sister-in-law Kathy Halberg.

Eileen was a dedicated nurse and such a wonderful person. Wendy and Beth, I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a great role model for both of you. I have so many great memories with Eileen. I was lucky to get to talk with a few years ago again at my dad’s funeral. I know she is in a better place but she will be missed!
I am so thankful for the few years I worked as a CNA at CCH. Eileen was so very supportive and kind to all of us, residents special.
