Eleanor Nordby

Eleanor C. Nordby, age 89, formerly of Barron, wife of the late Eugene Nordby, mother of Linda (Pastor Dean) Simpson of Roberts, Wis., Susan (Mike) DeGolier of Comstock, Wis., and Rod (Carla) Nordby of Barron, died on the morning of June 20, 2011, at Dean and Linda’s home in Roberts, surrounded by her family.

A celebration of life for Eleanor will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the First Lutheran Church in Barron. Visitation will take place from 1:45 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Wayside Cemetery in Barron at a later date.
