Elene Mary Fellman, age 89 of Ellsworth WI, died on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Elene was born October 9, 1928 in Ellsworth WI to parents Edward and Mabel (Jenson) Boothe. She attended school in Ellsworth, and graduated from Ellsworth High School with the Class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Rolland R. “Snooks” Fellman. Their union in marriage would be blessed with a son, Paul.

Elene worked for a time at the bank, besides being a loving wife, mom, and homemaker. In later years, she enjoyed helping Paul with his catering business. Elene was a people person, and enjoyed visiting with others. At the age of 58, Elene took up bicycling and downhill skiing. She enjoyed these sports, along with golfing, into her 70’s. She was a member of the ULLR Ski Club, and even took ski trips to Bozeman MT, Big Sky MT, and Aspen CO. Elene also enjoyed traveling throughout Europe.

Elene was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland “Snooks” Fellman. She is survived by her son, Paul (Christine) Fellman; her sister, Wilma Pell; nieces and nephew, Nathan (Karla) Johnson, Rachel (John) Muir, and Mary Pell; in-laws from the Fellman family; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Elene Fellman will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 2 at the English Lutheran Church, 229 W Main Street in Ellsworth WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church, and also from 4:00-8:00pm on Thursday at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home, 130 N Grant Street in Ellsworth WI. Elene’s final resting place will be the Maple Grove Cemetery of Ellsworth WI. Memorials may be given to the discretion of the family.
