Elizabeth J. (Betty) Webster, 86

Elizabeth J. Webster of Ellsworth, WI died Sunday, May 1, 2016
at her home in Hartland Township. She was 86. Betty was born on July 13, 1929 to Leon and Regina (Langer) Klecker in El Paso Township and was a graduate of Ellsworth Senior High School, Class of 1946. Following high school she worked at REA and then 4½ years for Montgomery Wards in the Twin Cities. She married Robert E. (Bob) Webster June 23, 1951. Betty was an avid homemaker and farm wife, making the best homemade bread and rolls and wonderful meals for her family. She welcomed all with open arms and gave the best goodbye hugs. Watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and develop gave her great joy. The home place she and Bob farmed has been in the Webster name for 133 years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth.

Survivors include her eight children, John (Jack) Webster of Ellsworth, Rita Webster of Minneapolis, MN, Dianne (Terry) Foley of Williamsburg, IA, Ron (Karen) Webster of Ellsworth, Sharon (Bob) Foley of Brookings, SD, Mary Jo (Barry) Kruse, of Zumbrota, MN, Bruce (Jill) Webster of Overland Park, KS and Brian (Kim) Webster of Bay City, 21 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren scattered throughout 9 states, 6 great grandchildren, a sister Mary (Sylvester) Socha of Bonduel, WI, a brother, Max (Barb) Klecker of Ellsworth, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, an infant son, her parents, and a brother, Eldon Klecker, preceded her in death.

Visitation is Thursday, May 5th from 4-8 pm at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth and one hour prior to Mass at the Church. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Friday, May 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth with the Rev. Fr. Eric Awortwe-Dadson officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Clayfield) Cemetery, Ellsworth Township. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Adoray Hospice or St. Francis Catholic School.
