Elmer Serier

Elmer Leon Serier, age 88 of Baldwin, died Friday January 14, 2011 at the Baldwin Area Medical Center. Elmer was born on August 15, 1922; the son of Clarence and Tilda (Larson) Serier. He was raised in rural Baldwin where he attended Riverside Elementary School. Elmer farmed his entire life. He also hauled bulk and canned milk. Elmer was a very simple man who appreciated the simple things in life; having a cup of coffee with friends at Rays or tinkering around the farm. He is survived by his brothers Russell (Evie) Serier of Baldwin, Harvey (Marvel) Serier of Baldwin, and his nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Lester (Arlene), Leslie (Alice), and Irene Anderson.

Funeral service for Elmer will be 2PM Monday January 17th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Baldwin Cemetery.
