Elwyn Lee

Elwyn Lee, age 70 of Hudson, died January 26, 2018 at Comforts of Home in Hudson following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Elwyn was born on July 27, 1947 in River Falls Wisconsin; the son of Oscar and Doris (Radunzel) Lee. He was raised in River Falls where he graduated from high school. Following this, he furthered his education at the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in New Richmond where he received his training in plumbing. For many years he owned and operated Lee’s Plumbing in Hudson. In 1969, he was married to the former Judith Quale to which children Todd,  Cary and Kris were born. This union would later dissolve.  In 1979, he was married to Cathy Sederlund. They would divorce in 2011. Elwyn’s favorite hobby was going to car shows. He loved to take care of his blue 72’ Ford pickup truck to which he won many awards with. He enjoyed putzing in his garage, Woodworking and making handmade bowls for his family friends. He also enjoyed fishing, wintering in Arizona, and traveling around in his RV seeing friends and family. Furthermore, he loved a quiet weekend at the cabin on Balsam Lake giving pontoon rides.

Elwyn will remain in the hearts of his sons Todd (Julie) Lee of New Richmond, Cary Lee of New Richmond; grandchildren Kristina, Katie, Kelsey, Brendan, Bradan; great grandson Logan; as well as many extended Lee family members. His son Kris Lee and step daughter Dana Sederlund precedes him in death.

Funeral service for Elwyn Lee Will be 10 AM Friday, February 2 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1, from 5 to 7 PM at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, Hudson. Burial will be in the Willow River Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials are preferred to the family.
