Erle Richardson

Erle James Richardson, age 72 of Ellsworth, WI, passed away unexpectedly December 21, 2020 at his home.  Erle was born October 7, 1948 in Plum City, WI to Everrett and Phyllis (Plankey) Richardson.  He graduated from Arkansas High School, with the Class of 1966 and furthered his education in Heavy Equipment Operations.  Erle was united in marriage to Gloria Jean Supri.  Their families blended and their lives were blessed with five children:  Lisa, Teresa, Tonya, Shannon and Tod.  Erle was a hard worker, employed as a heavy equipment operator for Fisher Company for many years.

Outside of his work, Erle enjoyed tending to his homestead and his beef cattle.  He also enjoyed camping, fishing and trips to Las Vegas with his wife, Gloria.  In his younger years, he loved tinkering on and driving his Dodge Super Bee.  Erle was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to his family.  He had a gracious heart and was always willing to help others when needed.

Erle will remain in the hearts of his beloved wife, Gloria; children, Lisa Richardson, Teresa (Louis) Sly and Tonya Zeien; step-children, Shannon Haddeman and Tod Shafer; grandchildren:  Sammy, Larissa, Brianna, Dustin, Kassidy, Sierra, Ashley and Cloey; many step-grandchildren; brother, Elwood (Lisa) Richardson; step-mother, Arlene Richardson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Garfield; and his parents, Everrett and Phyllis Richardson.

With the ongoing pandemic, a celebration of Erle’s life will take place at a later date.
