Ethan P. Bronner

Ethan Paul Bronner, age 18, passed away suddenly on the morning of Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Ethan was born August 9, 2002 in Marietta, Georgia the son of Ron Bronner and Heidi Taavola. He was a recent graduate of Hudson High School and had been looking into attending Michigan Technical University.

Ethan was a kind, thoughtful, and hardworking young man. He enjoyed participating in school sports and spent many years in baseball. He had a strong passion for cars with an intuition to figure out any problem a car could have. Ethan purchased and maintained many different cars he loved to fix up and drive around with his friends. His tremendous work ethic was shown in every portion of his life, especially in his later years of high school as he worked full time. 

Ethan loved traveling to the upper peninsula of Michigan where he could spend time vacationing with extended family. Ethan had a large impact on his family as he grew up alongside his older sister, Madeleine. The two siblings spent their early years glued to each other as they were each other’s sidekick. He worked alongside his Grandpa Lars on various home projects and would bake Christmas cookies with his Grandma Dolores. His uncle Lars and cousin Marcus would love to spend time together going to baseball games, football games, and the Mall of America. 

Ethan will remain in the hearts of his parents Ron and Heidi; sister Madeleine; Grandpa and grandma Lars and Dolores Taavola, Opa Ron and Kathy Bronner, Uncle and aunt Lars and Fay, and cousin Marcus. He is preceded in death by his Oma Trudy Bronner.

A celebration of Life for Ethan will be held on Wednesday, July 28th at Bethel Lutheran Church, Highlands Campus, 504 Frontage Road in Hudson at 11 A.M. This service will be live-streamed HERE. A visitation will take place Tuesday, July 27th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson from 4-6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment will take place at Willow River Cemetery.
