Eugene Leroy Kittilson, 79, of Prescott, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home.

Gene was born on August 8, 1935 in GilmanTownship, the son of Joseph and Arlene (Carpenter) Kittilson. He was a graduate of Prescott High School and later married Janet Olson on June 21st, 1955
Gene was a 38 year employee of the 3M Corporation.

Following his retirement Gene traveled many miles on his own time transporting vets to the VA in Minneapolis. He was very talented with his hands and enjoyed many pastimes, including:
rosemaling, working on his lawn and helping out his friends and neighbors with odd jobs around their homes. There was almost nothing Gene couldn’t fix, lamps, toasters, TV’s, or even your car He could make it work once more. Gene at one time was an active member in the Prescott UCC serving on many boards in various positions.

Gene is survived by his wife Janet.
Sons: Tim (Deb) Kittilson and Brian (Julie) Kittilson.

Grandchildren: Ridelle (Jordan) Pechacek and Tristan (Carly) Kittilson.
Great-grandchildren: Presley and Piper.

Brothers and sister: Bruce (Elizabeth) Kittilson, Joan (David) Beying, and Steven Kittilson.

Best Friend (and best person he ever knew): Jim Hovel

Preceding him in death was an infant son and son Tom, parents Joseph and Arlene and sister Elaine Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Hill Funeral Home, Prescott, WI. Burial will be in the Pine Glen Cemetery, Prescott, WI. Friends may gather for an hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
