Evelyn Kulak

Evelyn Kulak, age 92 of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on January 17, 2022. Evelyn was born on March 1, 1929 to Edward and Evelyn Wroblewski in Chicago. After graduating from high school Evelyn married the love of her life, Walter John Kulak. This union blessed them with five children, Marty, Kathy, Deborah, Christopher, and Walter.

Evelyn was a very devout woman whom loved her church and faith very deeply. She fiercely loved her children and was a stay at home mom. She was a very caring person and found joy in simple acts of kindness and was known to go out and buy lots of groceries and give most of them away to people who were in need. Up until a few years ago, Evelyn enjoyed going to different park concerts and spending evenings listening to the live music. Evelyn will be truly missed by her family, friends and other relatives.

Evelyn in survived by her children: Deacon Marty (Margie) Kulak, Kathy Kulak, Deborah (George) Koehler, Christopher Kulak and Walter Kulak; grandchildren: Jeff, Zach (Gabrielle), and Makayla; great grandchildren: Bradley, Logan and Austin; along with many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Kulak, and her parents Edward and Evelyn Wroblewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 231 W Woodworth St. Ellsworth, WI 54011, with Father Kevin Louis and Father Jerry Harris officiating. Visitation will start at 9:30am until the start of Mass. The service will be livestreamed to: https://youtu.be/gfP0S5XQ__0.Interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Ellsworth.

Memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
