Floyd Earl Quimby Jr.

Floyd Earl Quimby Jr., of Blaine, MN, formerly of Roseville, MN, died peacefully on October 8, 2020 at the age of 94.  Preceded in death by wife, Mary; parents, Floyd and Olga Quimby; and sister, Beverly Williams. Survived by children, Kathleen (David) Pitzen, Mary Lou Pitzen, Michael (Colleen) Quimby, Joan (Tracey) Lohman,  John (Mary Ward) Quimby, sister Joan Luedke; along with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Floyd was born July 23, 1926 in St. Paul, MN to Floyd Sr. and Olga (Crozat) Quimby. He graduated from Washington High School in St. Paul, with the Class of 1944.  Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Mary Kathryn McGuire on September 10th, 1948.  Their marriage was blessed with five children and 55 years.  Floyd worked in sales in the construction industry for many years. Most important to Floyd was his family.

A graveside service will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater, MN on October 20, 2020 at 11:00 am for the immediate family.  Floyd’s family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
