Floyd Raymond Plocher Jr., age 67 of Hudson, WI, died surrounded by family on June 3, 2022 at his home. Floyd was born on May 18, 1955 in Waconia, MN to Floyd and Lenore (Krautbauer) Plocher. He grew up in Waconia, MN and graduated from Waconia High School. Floyd was united in marriage to Vickie Anacker on June 5, 1976 in Minnetonka, MN, and the couple was blessed with two children, Melissa and Martin. He worked as a forklift operator for Arrow Building Center. Floyd was a loyal employee and took pride in his work.
Above all, Floyd loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed joking around with others, and always had a smile on his face. Floyd was fond of fishing, boating, riding his motorcycle, and going camping.
Floyd will remain in the hearts of his wife of almost 46 years, Vickie; his children, Melissa (Matthew) McLaren, and Martin (Danielle) Plocher; grandchildren, Brooke and Brennan McLaren; Sophia and Benjamin Plocher; sister, Sharon (Mike) Ford; brothers, Wayne (Bonnie) Plocher, and Bill (Chris) Plocher; sister-in-law, Lois Plocher; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dennis Krautbauer, Dave Plocher, and Rick Plocher.
In honoring Floyd’s wishes, no services will be held. Instead, please join the family to celebrate Floyd’s life on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Vickie and Floyd’s home to share memories of Floyd.
