Francesca Rose Faye Seipel, whose smile and effervescent personality lit up a room, sadly and unexpectedly died Friday, June 2nd 2023 at the River Falls Area Hospital’s Emergency Room. Francesca was born on February 27th, 2023 at the Red Wing Mayo Birthplace the beautiful daughter of Anthony and Joanna (Greathouse) Seipel. At only three months, she captured your heart with her ear to ear smile and bubbly personality. She so loved her mommy and daddy. She was glued to them and just beamed when she saw them. When dad would hit the door after work, she was a jabbering away trying her to tell daddy how excited she was to see him. For mom, she was her little pea in pod. She was enamored with mommy and didn’t want her to leave her sight. She loved when mommy would sing to her. She adored her ‘big’ sister Sophia. When Sophia was around, there was never a lack of entertainment as Francesca could barely keep track of all the excitement. Then there was Onyx, there dog. He was her protector. He would always check to make sure Francesca was safe in her bassinette or at the very least, close by. Francesca loved the attention she received. She was working so hard on saying “I love you” back to those who said it to her. In her short three months of life, she made a profound impact on the life of those around her and brought enormous sunshine to their lives.
Francesca is deeply loved and will forever remain in the hearts of her mommy and daddy Anthony and Joanna; her big sister Sophia; her maternal grandparents Roger and Angie Greathouse; aunt Laurel Greathouse and her son (Francesca’s cousin) Colson; paternal grandparents Robert and Annamaria Seipel; uncle Michael (Caitlyn) Seipel and their son (Francesca’s cousin) Griffin; as well as her uncle-in-heart Anthony (Liz) Marrota. She is preceded by her grandparents.
Francesca’s life will be celebrated at 1PM, Tuesday June 6th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Ellsworth. Visitation will be one hour prior to the prayer service from noon to 1PM. Interment will be private. Memorials will be used for her sister Sophia’s future education. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Ellsworth.

I’m very sorry for your loss. Your little girl is simply beautiful. We lost my nephew at 5 weeks. This pain is unimaginable unless you have been through it. Sending you love, hugs and prayers.
