Frank P. Marino, age 74, of Hudson, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in the presence of his siblings. He was living at the Christian Community Home in Hudson, WI, and suffered for the last several years from Bins-Wanger disease, which causes strokes.

Frank was born on June 3, 1942 to Felix and Mildred (Iverson) Marino in Baldwin, WI and was raised in North Hudson. He graduated from St. John’s Prep School in 1960, and attended several years of college at St. John’s in Collegeville, MN.

Frank was a hard worker and a kind man, as well as a loving and generous uncle. He enjoyed Pepper Fest so much that he always took vacation that week. He worked at United Refrigeration in Hudson until it closed, and worked at Nor-Lake in Hudson until his retirement in July 2010.

He is survived by his brother, John (Jayme) Marino of Hudson, WI; sister, Carole (Merrill) Ohnemus of Fall Creek, WI; niece Vicki (Andy) Foote; nephew, Joe Ohnemus; great-niece, Rosie Foote; and great-nephew, Carter Ohnemus, all of Eau Claire, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and infant niece, Tara Marino.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson, with a visitation held one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Christian Community Home, 1320 Wisconsin St., Hudson.
