Gary Arthur Kelly, age 48, of River Falls passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on January 30, 2016 after a two year battle with cancer. He was born on December 14, 1967 in Milwaukee, WI to Gerald and Catherine (Wenta) Kelly. Gary loved being around people and being a bartender at Emma’s Bar in River Falls for 23 years afforded him that opportunity. He thoroughly loved being a father to his three sons. He liked being active outdoors snowboarding, golfing, biking, swimming and canoeing. He enjoyed cooking and his home. Gary was a lover of life and lived each day to its fullest. His smile was sincere and steady.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Kelly.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Britta (Lee) Kelly of River Falls; his three sons, Tyler(17), Odin(6), and FreyBjorn(2); his mother, Catherine Kelly of Oconomowoc, WI; brothers, Cory Kelly of Hustisford; Shawn Kelly of Dousman; sister, Sherlynn Seese of Oconomowoc; he is further survived by his mother-in-law, Susan Anderson of River Falls; father-in-law, Thomas Lee of Wheeler, WI; sister-in-law, Alicia Lee of River Falls; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00-8:00pm Friday, February 5, at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home in River Falls, WI with a remembrance time at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family.
