Gary (Punk) Schmidt, age 52, died April 2, 2013 preceded in death by sister Linda Arnal and father Richard Schmidt.  Survived by son Thomas (Amanda) Schmidt , daughter Nicole Schmidt and their mother Linda;  grandchildren Cameron, Kayden and Calista; mother Delories Schmidt; brother Robert Schmidt, sisters Gerri (Dennis) Sadowski and Cathy Schmidt; many nieces and nephews and best friend Dale Karnes. 

Gary was the most selfless man anyone could meet. He would go out of his way to make sure his family and friends were always happy.   He was also extremely hard working, he was a professional driver for over 26 years. His hobbies included boating, riding motorcycle, fishing, and had a great love for the game of foosball.

Visitation will be held Sunday April 7th 5-8 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home 520 S Eleventh St. Hudson, Wisconsin.  Mass of Christian burial will be 4:30PM, Monday April 8 at St . Bernards Catholic Church; 187 W Geranium Avenue in St Paul, MN 55117.
