Gayle Elizabeth Rasmussen

Gayle E. Rasmussen, age 65 of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 21, surrounded by family.Gayle was born April 8, 1948, in River Falls WI. She was the daughter of John Lyman Groom and Audrey Eileen (McCleary) Groom. She married Larry B. Rasmussen on January 28, 1972 at United Methodist Church, River Falls. They were married almost 42 years.Gayle’s love was her family. She loved to Crochet, knit, crossstitch and she was an excellent seamstress. She was very fortunate to spend the last two weeks with her newborn grandson “Sully”.Gayle was survived by her husband Larry of River Falls, daughter Stacie (Tony) Nelson of River Falls, one grandchild; Sullivan Nelson, brothers; Ed (Linda) Groom of Hastings and Brad Groom of St. Paul Park and many other relatives.Gayle was preceded in death by her parents.Cashman Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
