Geoffrey Kent Miller, age 53 of Hudson WI, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 10, 2010. He graduated from Austin High School and the University of Minnesota with a BA in History. Geoff’s career centered on transportation and facility management.

He was fascinated by all things with an engine or a motor; trains and motorcycles topped the list. With his larger than life personality, everyone who met Geoff loved him. He will be greatly missed.

Geoff is survived by the love of his life, Margi, his wife of 31 years; his beloved and cherished daughters, Allie Miller (Will Holeman) of Houston, TX and Shea Miller of Hudson; his dedicated dad, Herman Miller, MD of Austin, MN; his dear brother, Greg Miller (Carol Wiebe) of Minneapolis; and his loving Fogarty in-laws. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen.

A funeral service will be held for Geoff at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 14th at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hudson. Visitation will be at the church from 12:00 – 2:00pm. Memorials are preferred to the family. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, 715-386-3725.
