Geordan Daniel Godwin, age 32 of Ellsworth died unexpectedly at his residence June 4, 2024. Geordan was born on September 8, 1991 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin; the son of Ealief ‘Dan’ and Betty (Shilts) Godwin. He attended elementary school in Downsville, middle school in Menomonie, before the family moved to Ellsworth while he was in seventh grade, where he graduated from high school in the class of 2010. He would further his schooling learning the trade of carpentry through the Carpenter’s Union. Over the years, he worked as a welder for Trinity Meyer in Bay City before working with his hands as a carpenter for various contractors in the industry. More recently, he became an apprentice in the United Brotherhood Carpenter’s Union.

Geordan had a free spirit who was always up for a ride on his Harley throughout the countryside with good friends. He also enjoyed playing frisbee golf in Red Wing and working out at the gym with his buddies. He enjoyed time spent video gaming and adding to his vast collection of baseball hats. Geordan was a loyal friend with a quirky sense of humor. He looked forward to spending time with his niece and nephews where he could get them all riled up; only to send them home to their moms.

Geordan will forever remain in the hearts of his parents Dan and Betty; sisters Kaidra (Bill Miller) Godwin, Raya (Bobby Harvey) Godwin; niece and nephews Jazlyn, Ky, Andres, Kabe, Aleister; maternal grandparents George and Ellie Shilts; aunts and uncles Jeff Shilts, Sue (Ron) Hartley, Scott (Tanya) Shilts, Mike (Sheilla) Shilts; as well as numerous cousins. His grandparents and others precede him in death.

A funeral Celebration of Life is being planned for Sunday, June 16th at 4:00PM at C3 Church; 7562 US-10, Ellsworth, Wisconsin 54011. A Visitation will be held prior from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at church. Memorials are appreciated.
