Georgia is welcomed into heaven by her husband Jerry; brother Gifford Grinager; sister Marlys Anderson, and son-in-law Jerry Johnson.

Georgia was born on October 27, 1930, in Clarkfield, MN to George and Cora Grinager. Georgia graduated from Clarkfield High School and went on to attend St. Olaf College where she earned a degree in education.

Education was always important to Georgia and was very proud to be a St. Olaf Alumni. She worked as a Home Economics teacher, as well as a preschool teacher.

She married Jerry Adams on June 7, 1953. Together they were blessed with four children. Known for her love of her family, faith, the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Twins, the card game of bridge, and her talent in the kitchen, Georgia was always seen as a loving homemaker who took pride in all she did. She never missed an opportunity to play cards, especially bridge.

Georgia loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and taught many of them how to play cribbage. Each of them always received a ten-dollar bill in every birthday card.

Georgia and Jerry’s love for each other was obvious to anyone they met, they did everything together and they were often the first two people to greet a new church member. Georgia leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

A memorial service for Georgia will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Downtown, Hudson. Visitation will be from 10-11 am with a funeral service at 11am. Lunch will be provided. The service will be livestreamed on Bethel’s website.
