Gladys Louise Lillevold, 91, of Hudson, WI joined her husband, Julien, in heaven on January 1, 2011.  She was surrounded by her loving family.  Gladys was born, November 23, 1919 in the  town of Red Cedar, Wisconsin to Robert and Alma Dehnhoff.  She married Julien Lillevold on April 12, 1941.  They were married for 66 years.

They moved to Hudson in the early 50’s. For many years she and her husband were custodians for Trinity Lutheran Church.  They had two children Karen Landin and her husband Tom of Star Prairie, WI and Robert Lillevold and his wife Jane Juntti of Eagan, MN.  She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.  Lynne Hamilton and her husband Lonnie of River Falls, Lisa Alrick and her husband Dave of Excelsior, MN, and Scott and his wife Colleen of Woodbury, MN.  She is further survived by 8 great grand children, Steve, Laura, and Krysta Huser, Luke and Nick Landin, and Adam, Benjamin, and Brock Hamilton.  She also had one great, great grandson, Elijah Hamilton.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Julien.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Comforts of Home for their love and support for the past 5 years, and Adoray Home Care Hospice for their support during the last two weeks. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in honor of Gladys.

A Memorial Service will be held for Gladys on Thursday, January 6th at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1205 Sixth St., Hudson. Visitations will be held 1 hour prior to service at the church and on Wednesday, January 5th, from 5-7pm at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, 715-386-3725.
