Glen T. Larson, age 81 of Hammond and Baldwin WI, died on Monday morning, March 31, 2014 at the American Heritage Care Center in Hammond WI. Glen was born October 5, 1932 in Woodville WI to parents Emil and Julia (Pederson) Larson. Glen attended Woodville High School and lettered in basketball.

Glen proudly worked for decades with the Local 322 Carpenters Union. Whether it was making small crafts, or showing his skills through bigger projects, Glen always enjoyed woodworking and creating things in his shop. Glen cherished his time outdoors around the farm, feeding and watching the birds, and tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. Glen canned much of what he grew, and like to give to others from the bounty of his annual harvest. Glen also enjoyed trips to the casino, watching basketball, and the Green Bay Packers. Glen and Elphie devoted much of their time to Peace Lutheran Church, especially through the LOGOS program and other youth groups.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Elphie; two children; and seven siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Corrine (Duane “Hoop” Hopkins) Gregerson of Baldwin; sons, Richard (Mimi) Michels of Rammstein Germany, and Jim Michels of Hammond; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2084 County Road N, Baldwin WI. Burial will follow at the Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00pm at the church. Memorials are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church LOGOS program. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin WI.
