Glen LeRoy Bottolfson, age 69, of River Falls, WI died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the VA Medical Center, Mpls. MN.

Glen was born on September 14, 1945 in Minneapolis, the son of Melvin and Elva (Schardin) Bottolfson. He was a graduate of River Falls High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 until his honorable discharge in 1967. Glen had a great sense of humor and loved telling stories and playing golf. He was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger fan.

He will be remembered for being kind, forgiving and generous to a fault.

Glen is survived by his sister Joyce McKahan, Plum City, WI. Brothers: Wayne, of Riceville, IA; and Lonny of River Falls.

Brother in-law LaVerne Klingesmith, Ellsworth.

He is further survived by his longtime friend Sam Briggs and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Darrell; and a sister Marilyn Klingensmith and two nieces Carla and Jean.

Services for Glen will be at 2:00pm, Monday, December 29, 2014 at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, River Falls. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, WI. Visitation will be for one hour prior to service on Monday.

Military honors will be provided by the veterans of Fletcher-Pechacek American Legion Post #121, Rive Falls, WI
