Gretchen E. Kaiser

Gretchen Elaine Kaiser, age 68 of Beldenville, WI, passed away January 13, 2020 at the Mayo Clinic Red Wing. Gretchen was born August 31, 1951 in Winona, MN to Louis Jene-Arliss Jr. and Elaine (Helland) Olson. Gretchen graduated from Winona High School, with the Class of 1969. She was united in marriage to Stanley Allan Teske on December 27, 1969. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Lindsey, Allison, Brooke, and Shane. On October 10, 2002, Gretchen was married to Joseph Robert Kaiser, sharing seventeen years of love and devotion. Gretchen was a wonderful mother, raising her children in a home full of unconditional love, support, and caring.

Most important to Gretchen was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She always enjoyed family camping adventures, spending time by the pool, and watching her daughter and grandchildren compete at horse shows. She was happiest when her home was full of grandkids, and took great pride in serving a thoughtfully planned out homemade meal for everyone to enjoy. Gretchen delighted in the peacefulness of the outdoors, flower gardening, and bird watching. Treasuring the joy around her, Gretchen loved scrapbooking family memories. She also had a special place in her heart for animals and loved many family pets throughout the years.

Gretchen will remain in the hearts of her husband, Joseph; children, Lindsey (Jeremy) Holder, Allison (John) Teske, Brooke (Tim) Drewlow, and Shane Teske; grandchildren, Daniel Holder, Matthew Wolfe, Isaac Yunker, Adelynn Raspotnik, and Michael Drewlow; mother, Elaine Larson; siblings, Jair Larson, Nada Larson, Keicia Medbery, Zach Larson, and Kai Larson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Jene-Arliss Olson Jr.; step-father, Wallace Larson; and grandparents, Harold Helland, Levina Helland, Anna Olson, and Louis J.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 N. Grant St., Ellsworth, WI. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be take place one hour prior to the service. Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
