Jean Harnish, age 91 of Hudson, died February 18, 2018 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson. Jean was born on February 17, 1927 in Arkdale, Wisconsin, the daughter of Marvin and Ida Bredeson. She attended Adams Elementary School prior to graduating from Adams Friendship High School. She furthered her education at the University Wisconsin Stevens Point. On June 30, 1946, she was united in marriage to Wayne Harnish in Adams, Wisconsin. This union was blessed with two sons, Dennis and Donald. Jean was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family. She took great pleasure in supporting her sons in Boy Scouts, school and sporting events. Jean loved old time music and playing bridge with friends. She enjoyed her time spent at Hazel Park Congregation Church in East St. Paul where she was a member for many years.

Jean will forever be remembered by her sons, Dr. Dennis (Holly) Harnish, Donald Harnish; grandchildren, Keri (Dan) Harnish, Dr. Derek (Brenda) Harnish, Carmen (Scott) Privratsky; great grandchildren, Ruby, Makenna and Grant. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; her parents, and sister, June Zarris.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Jean Harnish will be 11AM Friday May 4 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at O’Connell’s. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
