Harold E. Watson

Harold Edwin Watson, 89, formerly of Bruce, WI, passed away peacefully at The Estates at Greeley in Stillwater, MN. He was born on April 3rd, 1930 to parents William & Helen “Ruby” Heiser in Selby, SD. In his adolescence, Harold, Ruby, & his sisters moved to Northeast Minneapolis, MN, where he joined the Naval Reserve Air Force & graduated from Vocational High School. It was here that Harold met & married Dorothy Sierbenski. During their 38 years together, they were blessed with four children. Harold spent his working career at Honeywell & retired after 40 years of employment. When Harold wasn’t on naval duty or at work, he could be found traveling the U.S.A. with his family. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, & biking. His kind nature & free spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Harold will remain in the hearts of his beloved children, Kim (Don) Proctor, Lynn Watson, & Mary (Jay) Audette; his adored grandchildren, Jerrad Audette, Shawna Audette (Brandon) & their precious child (great-grandchild), Morgan Rudolph, Brittany (Jarryd) Berkness, & Brandon (Ari) Proctor; his treasured sisters, Helen Smith & Jane (Mike) Bradley; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family, & friends.

He was preceded in death by his wonderful son, Scott Watson; his dear mother, Ruby; & his treasured sister, Jean.

Public Interment with full military honors will take place 1:00 PM Friday, April 26 at Fort Snelling, St. Paul, MN. Memorials preferred to the discretion of the family, & may be sent to O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 11thSt. S. Hudson, WI 54016, to be forwarded on your behalf.
