Harvey P. Hoss

Harvey P. Hoss, age 67 of Hudson, WI, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Harvey was born April 2, 1949 in Sisseton, SD to parents Norman and Veronica (Fleischhacker) Hoss. On October 9, 1967 in Watertown, SD, Harvey would be united in marriage to Barbara Burns. Their union would be blessed with two daughters, six grandchildren, and over 48 years of love and devotion.

Harvey worked as a tool and die maker, and was the Engineering Manager for Sons Tool & Die in Woodville, WI. Harvey loved to ice fish, and to go pheasant and grouse hunting. He served as a board member and treasurer for the Hudson Rod, Gun & Archery Club, where he was a Life Member. Harvey also enjoyed snowmobiling and rides around his property on the Gator. Harvey continued to work for a few years after a medical procedure that had caused him paralysis. Harvey’s strong will, humor, and perseverance, along with the love and caring support from his family, helped him through many difficult days. Through it all, he cherished his time with his family. Harvey’s loving wife Barbara, his girls, and his grandkids were the most near and dear to his heart.

Following Harvey’s wishes, his family will host a small gathering of family and friends at a later date.
