Hilda Adeline Stoetzel

Hilda Adeline Stoetzel, 93, of River Falls, formerly of Ellsworth, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Kinnic Health & Rehab. Center, River Falls, WI.

Hilda was born November 16, 1922 in the town of Trimbelle, the daughter of Chris and Marie (Bednar) Gutting. She was a graduate of St. Angella Academy in Iowa. Hilda married Marvin Stoetzel on January 26, 1943 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI.

Hilda is survived by her six children: Anna Marie Koch, Ellsworth, WI; Patricia (Willard) Cosby, Parker,San Diego, CA; Michael (Mary) Stoetzel, White Bear, MN; Msgr. Charles Stoetzel, La Crosse, WI; John (Michelle) Stoetzel, Ellsworth, WI; Jean (David) Rose, Hudson, WI.

She is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, great-grandson Andrew Elsen, sister’s sr. Mary, sr. Hope and sr. Laura; brother’s Joseph, Bill, Carl, Bernard, and Leo and son-in-law Jerome Koch

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30, A.M., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a 6:30 P.M. Rosary service on Tuesday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth and for one hour prior to the Mass on Wednesday.
