Ita Walker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ita Walker, beloved wife to Kelly and loving mother to Emily. She was a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends in Costa Rica and Wisconsin. Ita peacefully departed this world on May 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ita’s passion for the arts, particularly painting and graphic design, reflected her creative spirit and brought joy to all who knew her. Ita’s wild side loved memorable motorcycle rides with her husband, her soft side loved her dogs.

Ita led her life with a kind-heart and her quick wit and humor touched the lives of many, endearing her to everyone she met. Her warm smile and compassionate soul will be deeply missed in our community. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy of bravery, love and thoughtfulness that will forever be remembered here at home as well as Costa Rica.

In this time of profound loss, we extend our deepest condolences to her husband Kelly Walker, daughter Emily Walker, brother Eugenio, brother Gustavo, sister-in-law Eugenia, and all the rest of her Costa Rican family and countless friends, including the furry ones, who had the privilege of knowing Ita. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she shared so generously during her time on Earth.
