Jacquelyn Rose Mattfield

Jacquelyn “Jacky” Mattfield of Grand Rapids, MN died March 10, 2016 at the Kinnic Health & Rehab in River Falls, WI. Jacky was a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids. She was born April 28, 1935 to Clair & Clara Cole. She married Bernard Mattfield on February 10, 1951. Jacky worked at many local businesses over the course of many years, but her favorite pastime was being a wife and mother to their 7 children. Jacky enjoyed spending as much time as possible with family. She always had a smile on her face! She moved to Ellsworth, WI in 2013 to live with her daughter.

Jacky is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Raymond Cole; her sister, Claire Lastavica; her husband, Bernard, who passed away in 2009; son, Delore Mattfield; daughters, Susan Rupert Mattfield, Jacquelyn Mattfield; grandson, Christopher Pardino.

Jacky is survived by 4 daughters, Bernardine “Bunny” Laird (Gerald), Donna Erickson (James), Patricia Lundquist (Gregory), Theresa LaMora; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth, WI with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. A celebration of life and burial service for friends and family will be held at 2:00 pm on April 2, 2016 at the Grand Rapids Moose Lodge, Grand Rapids, MN. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
