James Douglas Kafka

James “Jim” (Rock n Roll Jimbo) Kafka, age 66 of St. Croix Beach died from complications of a traumatic brain injury on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Jim was born August 21, 1957 in St. Paul the son of Douglas & Frances Kafka. On Setember 2, 1978 he was united in marriage with Cynthia Miller at his parents home in St. Croix Beach. He liked the outdoors. He enjoyed old cars, especially car shows. In December of 2006 he suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Jim is survived by his wife Cindy; his children Nick & Cassie; sisters Colleen (Rob) Lyon, Denise Carlson, Shelly Kafka, brother John (Leslie) Kafka; many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation 9:30- 10:30 am Wednesday 2/28 with 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 16770 13 ^th St. S, Lake St. Croix Beach.  A special thank you to all the people who helped along the way from all his caregivers, St. Croix Valley, the church, the Courage Center, Regions Hospital & Hospice.
