James Henry Brown, age 83, of Hudson, WI, passed away on September 16, 2024. Born on October 9, 1940 to parents Henry and Evelyn (Wails) Brown. He grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania and graduated from Reading High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and during his service he met his future wife, Carole Heckman. The two were married on October 1, 1965 and together were blessed with two children.
James worked for Northwester Airlines as an electronic technician until his retirement.
Throughout his life, James found joy in the simplicity of model railroads, spending countless hours meticulously crafting miniature landscapes and railroad systems. His inquisitive nature led him to explore various interests, from keeping up with current events to immersing himself in the intricacies of history. James’s broad taste in music and culinary talents added vibrant colors to his unique personality, making him a cherished individual in the eyes of all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Carole; children Christopher (Shawna) Brown and Stefanie (Andy) McAfee; grandchildren Kevin and Brannon; great grandson Julius; step-brother Bob Speicher; brother-in-law Stephen (Jyotsna) Heckman; cousins Sharleen and Dorsay Ann as well as his beloved dog Berit.
Private family services will be held.
