James Patrick “Jamie” Rohl, age 46 of Prescott, WI, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jamie was born December 16, 1973 in Red Wing, MN to Jay and Geri Rohl. Jamie grew up on a family farm outside of Prescott, WI, and graduated with the Class of 1992 from Prescott High School in the top 10 of his class. Jamie went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, attending UW-River Falls and the University of Minnesota. Jamie married his high school sweetheart Jennifer “Jenna” Stanke on June 28, 1997.

Jamie had an exceptional career with Boston Scientific and loved his work and the people he was able to meet through his work. Jamie loved to travel with his family and explore new places. Jamie was an avid Packers fan, and enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, boating on his pontoon, and skiing with his family at Afton Alps. Jamie was the life of the party, and always made sure family gatherings were full of fun and excitement.

Jamie is preceded in death by grandparents Frank and Evelyn Huppert, and Ed and Mabel Rohl.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Jenna; children, Frank, Chloe, Ella, and Leo. Jamie is also survived by his parents, Jay and Geri Rohl; siblings, Joe (Steph), Jennifer, David, and Michelle (Muamer) Rohl-Heganovic. Jamie is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and good friends.

The life of James Patrick “Jamie” Rohl will be celebrated on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the St. Bridget Catholic Church, 211 E. Division Street in River Falls. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2:00pm, and a Memorial Mass will take place at 5:00pm, with Rev. Fr. Jerry Harris officiating. With concern to the ongoing pandemic, social distancing and use of masks will be encouraged for those who attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials honoring Jamie may be directed to the discretion of his family.
