Jeffery David Kunde, age 58, of Baldwin, passed away on August 22, 2024, unexpectedly, of a cardiac event. He was born on June 21, 1966 in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Park Senior High in Cottage Grove, MN and continued his education at St. Paul TVI. Jeff married the love of his life and best friend Shelley Burmeister on July 12, 1997, together they were blessed with a courageous and spunky daughter and Jeff’s older son, for a beautiful family.
Jeff was known for his love of fishing, camping, and riding his snowmobile and ATV. He found great joy in the outdoors and shared many adventures with his family and friends.
Jeff was known for his kind and compassionate heart, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His greatest joy in life was his children and spending time with his family, particularly his beloved granddaughter, whom he adored endlessly.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew him. Jeffery’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the countless memories shared with him.
He is survived by his wife Shelley; children Michael (Heather) Burmeister and Marissa (George) Kunde; granddaughter EllaMae, sister-in-law Beckie (Don) Burmeister, sister-in-law Nancy Kunde and niece Nicole (Jared) DiFore. He is preceded in death by his father and mother in law Dale and Ella Burmeister, along with his parents.
A funeral service for Jeff will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI. Visitation will begin at 10am with a service to follow at 11am.
