Jeffrey L. Dahl, age 66 of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, died on January 5, 2025, peacefully at his home. Jeff was born on May 7, 1958, to John and Donnas (DeLong) Dahl in Red Wing, Minnesota. He married Brenda Hines on February 7, 1987. He was happily married for almost 38 years. Jeff and Brenda gave birth to a daughter Hailie (Punkin) Dahl on October 10, 1986.

Jeff attended Ellsworth High School in Ellsworth, Wisconsin and then started a career of hard work. His work consisted mostly of construction, demolition, and asbestos abatement. He worked the last 15 years for ECCO Midwest, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, then Hastings, Minnesota as a Project Manager. He worked the 5-state area and put on a lot of miles. He finally retired in May of 2024. He will truly be missed by all.

Jeff enjoyed family get-togethers, fishing, playing euchre, cribbage, poker and shaking dice with family and friends. After retiring he enjoyed curling up on the couch watching movies and just plain relaxing.

His favorite summer task was mowing lawn on his John Deere tractor. He also liked having a cold beer with Brenda at Turtle Lake or Las Vegas. Toward the end of summer, football season and fantasy football were always on his mind. The Green Bay Packers were a #1 priority. During football season there was no such thing as an “indoor voice”!

Jeff is survived by his wife Brenda Dahl; children: step-son Andy (Betsy) Hines, son Jon (Shannon) Dahl, and daughter Hailie (fiancé Trevor Robbins) Dahl; grandchildren: Austin, Joe, Drew, and Patrick Hines, Bailey and Carmeron Dahl; great granddaughters: Dakota, Oaklynn and Raelynn Hines; sister Denice (Dahl) Witgert, brother Tim (Karen) Dahl, sisters-in-law: Fran Dahl, Heidi Dahl, Anita (Steve) Hakes, Marilyn (Barry) Place, Carol (Rick) O’Connell, Linda (Hines) Szempruch, Shirley (Roger) Schommer; brothers-in-law: Doug (Marilyn) Hines and Larry Hines; aunts Darlene Kruse and Sonny Trainor; uncle Tom (Sandy) Pickereign; several nieces and nephews, and Goddaughters: Jessica Dahl and Kelsey Molberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Donnas; father and mother in-law: Lenny and Helen Hines, brothers: Steven and Mike Dahl; brother-in-law: Dr. John Witgert; sister-in-law: Mary (Jones) Hines, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeff from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Ridgetop: W10516 US-10, Prescott, WI 54021.
